Hyde GUARDIAN® UV Treatment
Hyde Ballast Water Treatment Systems include a powerful UV treatment system to effectively kill or inactivate organisms, bacteria and pathogens in ballast water.
The UV is designed for efficient kill or inactivation of organisms, bacteria and pathogens in ballast water. The system has a very low pressure drop to minimize its effect on ballast pump capacity. The Hyde medium pressure UV is the most suitable solution for marine applications. It is fully automatic and is easy to operate and maintain.
The Hyde UV systems feature the most modern UV lamp technology. The system is carefully designed to ensure that an adequate UV dose is available even in low transmissivity conditions.
Hyde has applied this same UV technology for disinfection of drinking water aboard ship. Hyde UV systems have also been installed on several cruise ships as the final disinfection stage of the ships' waste water treatment process. UV disinfection systems can also be supplied for swimming pool water, air ducts and other applications. Complete customized automatic controls are available from Hyde Marine for all UV disinfection systems.
UV Control Panel
The Hyde UV is delivered with power and control panels. The control panel monitors and logs the performance of the UV system and also ensures that all water passing through the UV chamber receives at least the minimum prescribed UV dose. The control panel is also equipped with a self-diagnostic system and will alarm if the performance is below spec or if a UV lamp needs to be replaced.
